Show Proposals for Fall 2024
Melodramatics is currently accepting show proposals for next semester! Our shows would likely be sometime in late November.
Anyone can submit a proposal! We welcome any and all submissions.
In order to submit a proposal, you must have someone willing to direct or music direct the show.
Please email Ethan Ordower (eo243@cornell.edu) your proposal in PDF form by Friday, May 3rd at 11:59pm
What should be in my proposal?
Here is a list of suggested sections to have in your proposal. None of these are required, but the more information we have from your proposal, the more likely we are to approve your show.

Why Melos? Why now?

What are the potential difficulties of your show, and proposed solutions

(i.e. a staged hanging scene in Heathers, or puppets for Avenue Q.)

What are the technical wants of the show?

(i.e. set ideas, specific staging plans, unique technical needs for that show.)

If you have any, please include relevant technical documents

What are the challenges to casting the show?
