We are so excited to announce that our spring production is Heathers: The Musical !

Auditions for musicians are now open! The form will close on Saturday, February 24th. 

 

Keep an eye out for crew sign-ups, which will come later in the semester.

Open Positions for Heathers: The Musical

We are looking for someone to be able to music direct for our spring musical! You would be in charge of teaching the music and providing direction to cast of Heathers. You will be working closely with the director and the music to help create a vision for the production. In addition, you will be primary keyboardist and conductor for the pit band during rehearsals and performances. This position requires a fair amount of time commitment, but we are flexible and work around your schedule! 

(note: it is possible to split the role of music director into two roles: music director and rehearsal pianist, who will take over the responsibility of playing the piano during rehearsals and performances)

Music Director:

Costume Designer:

We are looking for someone to help design the costumes for our spring musical. You will be in charge of bringing to life the director's vision for Heathers by gathering clothing items, and purchasing some items with a small budget. Experience with costumes a plus but not required. 

Lighting Designer

We are looking for someone to help design the lights for our spring musical. You will be in charge of bringing to life the director's vision for Heathers by working with a pre-created light plot in the Flexible Theater in the Schwartz Center. Basic experience with theatrical lighting required.

Assistant Stage Manager

We are looking for someone to work alongside our Stage Management team. You will attend rehearsals, write daily reports and send our daily calls, and manage paperwork for Heathers to ensure the production stays organized and on schedule. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel required.

Photographer:

We are looking for someone to attend rehearsals and performances to take photos and keep a record of each production. Basic knowledge of editing or touching up photos is a plus. You will also be in charge of keeping a gallery of the photos on the website and sharing the photos with members of the production team and the social media managers.
